I haven't tried the food yet. The service is quick and friendly. They have a pool table upstairs. They have several different spaces. Outside patios. All available for parties and rental for events it seems like. They have an excellent Comedy Open mic on Thursdays that sometimes gets professional comics. The newer talent is also really good. Easy access from public transportation or walking a few blocks from Clark Park. Pretty chill area.
Highly authentic Ethiopian food. I've been eating at this place for a while now and it is some of the best Ethiopian you find in the US. The wait is a little long but ultimately an amazing restaurant.
This is a bar-and-restaurant, with a small bar area and a small, informal dining area behind it. The night we went, NBA and NFL games were both on the TVs, and the crowd got lively later in the evening. We'll go again to catch a game, but the food was the real star. The traditional Ethiopian dishes on injera (a spongy bread/pancake) were so well seasoned and tasty, and the portions were generous.
Alan made our dining experience a memorable one. Food and ambiance in the outdoor seating area were top tier. Will definitely be back! (:
Then come in here for 25 years. You know the food is the bomb they keep expanding. What's super hard for me to hear that the misses of the place so I know so long is passed on. But the quality is still right on track and for everybody at UPenn you know you got to get over there. Live Ethiopian music while you eat...... What more do you want
Nice dive bar feel, Ethiopian food, good service. I really enjoyed the local feel. Sports bar atmosphere, not my first choice but I think most people appreciate this kind of place.
This is the place to rock, many rockers hang around here and talk about rock music while smoking cigarettes and drinking rock n roll beer. This is a fantastic establishment ! Excellent deals on food and beer, amongst other things!
Went here craving fish and was recommended the fish platter along with the veggie platter to serve two. We were NOT disappointed! Everything was so kind, and our waitress was so kind! Definitely recommend to check it out Also, their samosa appetizers are BOMBBB! So flavorful and fresh (not pictured but be sure to order them so u can taste what I mean )
